2022 Spring Pattern Roundup
Spring is in the air, y’all!!!!
Well. Maybe not yet for some of you (my bro and sis-in-law got 4”+ of snow last night in West VA) , but if it’s not there yet, it’s coming!!! I promise ;)
Even in Florida I can feel the springyness upon us. The jasmine is blooming in our neighborhood and we had our first thunderstorm of the year. Once the delightful swarms of lovebugs show up, I’ll know it’s officially spring. While I do gravitate toward lighter, airier makes on the regular, I thought I’d put together a little round up of some of my favorite Spring patterns I’ve made so far for any of y’all who are craving something other than heavy winter knit and crochet makes.
This is by NO means an inclusive list of my favorite warm weather makes!!! But these are some of the garments and accessories I wear most often in my handmade wardrobe. Be sure to click on the links to check out the patterns and show their fabulous designers some love!!!

7 Spring Knit and Crochet Patterns I’m Dying To Cast On
And lastly, here are 7 FABULOUS spring/summer patterns I’m really excited to get on my needles and hooks. As I wrote this post on a whim and don’t have permission/rights to any photos of the designs, I’m including links to the designer’s Instagram/Ravelry/Etsy pages.
The Mystique Dress by HookLoops - This dress caught my eye a few months ago with the gorgeous neckline and the flowing body. I feel like I’d be able to show off the girls while also consuming pizza and beer and look sexy AF doing it ;)
The Nami Skirt by Hippy Daze - All of Alanna’s patterns are stunning but this skirt is just what my handmade wardrobe needs! It would pair with so many of my knit and crochet tops and it looks super twirly.
The Intentions Wrap by Knot Bad Britt - I scored 2 beautiful patterns from 2 beautiful designers and human beings as part of the Montana Crochet Christmas yarn advent. As I don’t yet know how to Tunisian crochet, I’ll be making Cosmic Creations and Designs gorgeous Legacy of Love Shawl pattern later on, but the Intentions Wrap looks like an absolutely perfect meditative make for self care and will probably be the first of these WIPs I begin. The drape to this baby is lovely and I’ll be using all the rosey, cream, and brown colors from my beautiful advent to make it.
Ladder Lace Coverup by The Frosted Stitch - This is a dress that’ll take you from beach to beach bar! I saw this tester version from Kyara of @kayscrochetcreation and I decided I’d have to someday make the exact same one, lol.
The Aphroditeddy by Mezzo Makes- Oh hot damn, this is one sexy design!!!! Whether you choose to wear it as lingerie for some sexy, fun times or as a body suit on your next date night/girls’ night out, I think every woman needs one of these in her closet.
The Dirty Dancing Dress by The Marvelous Mrs. Maker - Ok, this one isn’t out yet but I CAN’T WAIT TO MAKE ONE!!!! Brit is an absolutely brilliant designer and she uses the Sizing with Spreadsheets by Swanky Emu Knits to help you create a custom fit dress tailored to your every curve. This dress makes everyone’s ass look utterly scrumptious and I’m so excited to put my own derriere in one.
The Serendipity Dress by Is.Knit - Real talk: I wanted to make this amazing dress for New Years. That didn’t happen. Then I wanted to make it as my birthday dress. Again, ran out of time. So now instead of setting a deadline for myself, I’m just gonna say, it’ll happen. When? No idea. But this dress is too pretty not to whip up. Maaaaaybe it’ll get done for my anniversary????? Fingers crossed!
So there ya have it! 27 pretty kickass spring patterns. Feel free to pop over to my latest Instagram post here and lemme know your favorite Spring/Summer pattern!
